Postby Gus » Tue Aug 12, 2014 5:54 pm

hi all

just wondering if the 03 pattern 12" bayonet was issued to NZ soldiers for use in the first world War? And if so, who would have been issued Them?

Cheers

Gus,
Briefly, Yes,
1903 bayonets were used by certain units in England. The 1903 bayonet was carried in the 1888 scabbard and the 1908 pattern bayonet frog.
